The 12 finalists for a Businesswoman of the Year Award were announced Thursday, February 13, 2020, during a cocktail reception hosted by the Women’s Business Network of Ottawa at the Sala San Marco Event & Conference Centre.

I’ve never been a wallflower. I’ve always been the type of person who speaks up and out—and often. I think it goes back to the number of great female role models I’ve been fortunate enough to have. It’s them that I think of first, with gratitude, in accepting the recent honour of being named a Businesswoman of the Year by the Women’s Business Network.
